Road Back Open After Deadly Crash in Monroe County

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — At least one person is dead after a crash in Monroe County.

It happened around 9:30 Sunday night on Cherry Valley Road near Stroudsburg.

One car crashed into a telephone pole.

State police had the road shut down for hours, and the coroner was called to the crash.

There’s no word on how many people were in the car or what caused the deadly wreck.

Cherry Valley Road is back open Monday morning in Monroe County.
